Born in St, Louis, Missouri, October 10, 1944. Received B.S.B.A. degree from Marquette University in 1966, and J.D. degree from St. Louis University in 1969. Served as one of the student editors of the Foreign Reserve Bulletin at St. Louis University. Admitted into the Missouri Bar in 1969 and United States District Court for the Eastern Division in 1974. Member of the Circuit Public Defender's Bureau, City of St. Louis, from 1971 through 1972. Presented with the Lon O. Hocker Trial Memorial Award by the Missouri Bar Association in 1977 and the Award of Honor by the Lawyers Association of St. Louis 2008. Member of International Association of Defense Counsel, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and American Board of Trial Advocates, of which he served as president of Missouri Southern Illinois Chapter in 2001. Has spoken on various legal topics as lecturer at Washington University school of Engineering, St. Louis University School of Law, and at various Continuing Legal Education programs presented by Missouri Bar and University of Missouri at Kansas City Law School.
